On the whole, South Lake Tahoe has more public shoreline than other parts of the lake. This means that if you want to say your vows next to the water, you have many options. Although there are a number of private beaches that belong to resorts and hotels, there are also plenty of public beaches. If you are thinking of a more casual celebration, a public beach may suffice. In case you envision a formal event, there are some world-class wedding venues that you should definitely check out.

Weddings by South Lake Tahoe Photographers

One of the best things about getting married near Lake Tahoe is the amazingly predictable summer weather. If you plan a lakefront wedding right on the beach between June and August, you can essentially count on a gorgeous, sunny day. Annelise and Ian got it right for their South Lake Tahoe wedding, with a ceremony in Tahoe’s golden sand and a reception under the pine trees. By and large, many Lake Tahoe wedding venues allow for an all-inclusive location. This means you can enjoy for a stress-free celebration without having to worry about leaving a ceremony site in time to make it to the reception. Zephyr Cove Resort weddings allow everyone to settle in for the day without needing to relocate. It is a great venue if you want a wedding with your feet in the sand. Not to mention the amazing sunsets that you will get to see right from the beach!
