Graeagle Lodge Wedding: Kristina + Brian
Kristina and Brian’s Graeagle Lodge wedding was a rare treat. Not only did these two get married at the charming Gray Eagle Lodge, they are both super adventurous. On top of that, photography was a priority for them. They wanted documentary-style coverage of their wedding day. But they also wanted some beautiful outdoor portraits.
In addition to being a peaceful mountain getaway for families, the Gray Eagle Lodge is also a unique outdoor wedding venue in Graeagle. Planning a Graeagle wedding? You should check this place out. Especially if you love the outdoors and want to get married in a quiet, secluded location. For one thing, National Geographic Traveler magazine named Gray Eagle Lodge as one of the Top Ten North American Classic Summer Lodges. This means maximum adventure for you and your loved one(s), with all the comforts to make your stay enjoyable.
In the event that accolade weren’t enough to make the Gray Eagle Lodge a cool place to hang out, check this out. Outdoor Magazine ranked the mountain biking on nearby Mt. Elwell as one of the 10 Great America Mountain Biking Trails. Although the single-track riding closer to Lake Tahoe has kept me busy for the better part of a decade, my eyes are now turned towards Graeagle. It is definitely not the first time I have heard about great mountain biking trails in Graeagle.
But I digress! One of the true highlights of Kristin and Brian’s Graeagle wedding was that they carved out time for photos at an amazing location. They are both avid hikers, and know the area well. We drove to a special location nearby, with some amazing views of the Sierra Buttes. The ceremony and reception sites at the Gray Eagle Lodge are conveniently located together. Because of this, we had plenty of time to leave the wedding venue for a little bit to make these photos.
